FAQs: Wash

Q
How often should I have my car washed?
A
Usually every fortnight is a good way to wash. If your car is exposed to corrosive materials like salt, sand & industrial fallout, it should be washed often. None of these elements should be allowed to sit on your car's finish for more than 24 hours.

Q
What is the advantage of washing my car at The Green Hand Car Care Service rather than a quick Drive-thru?
A
Each time you drive through a car wash, the car’s body is in reality ruined for the following reasons.
• Soap is not evenly applied.
• Automatic brushes tend to scratch.
• The car is not totally dried.
• A combination of the above would leave   dirt & promote moisture.

Q
Do you suggest a coin car wash?
A
Usually coin car washes pose one or all of the following drawbacks.
• The high-pressure spray can scratch   the car's finish by pushing the dirt   across the car.
• Usually coin washes donot provide any   shaded area to dry your car forcing   the car to dry in direct sunlight.
• Most coin car washes and automatic   car washes use poorly recycled water   or donot use fresh water.
